Primary Responsibilities
- Independently organize, conceptualize, and conduct large, advanced spatial analyses as part of a team
- Work with project teams and clients to design and effectively employ GIS on regulatory and permitting elements of infrastructure projects
- Assist the team with project marketing, budget development, and resource scheduling
- Implement quality assurance plans for GIS tasks
- Create maps, databases, and other deliverables on short notice
- Develop geodatabase schemas and analysis methods needed to support project goals
- Develop vector and raster spatial analysis models using ModelBuilder, Python or other GIS scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks
- Develop and support web GIS applications using Esri's Experience Builder, Web App Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps, Survey 123 within the ArcGIS Online platform
- Communicate and collaborate with remote team members and individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical
- Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Geography, Geospatial Science, Geographic Information Systems, Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of practical GIS experience; an advanced degree in a relevant field may offset experience
- Proficient in the use of Esri ArcGIS Pro
- Experience in map generation and data visualization
- Experience with ArcGIS Online platform and associated products such as Experience Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps, and Survey 123
- Expertise in developing Geodatabases and schemas (domains, subtypes), SQL, and other databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and effective time management
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Esri Certification
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator or related graphic software for enhancing the quality of GIS maps
- Local candidate preferred
