Your Opportunity

As a GIS Analyst with Stantec you will provide technical support which includes mapping applications, spatial analysis, and map production; as well as provide support for assigned projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Uses geospatial data to complete tasks using knowledge of Geographical Information Systems
• Input's data into relevant software programs
• Assists team in creating basic aerial and mapping exhibits
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Basic understanding of general concepts of Geographical Information Systems
• Knowledge of GIS Platforms, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD and ESRI software suite including ArcGIS
• Developing skills utilizing relevant geographic software programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Developing cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in GIS or related field & EIT. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience. Co-op/Internship experience preferred.

Position will work in both a field and office setting.
