GIS Developer
Job Description
Spatial Front provides IT solutions to federal, state, and local governments, and the private sector. We are searching for a GIS Developer. This is a large-scale IT software development effort implementing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). We are looking for a GIS developer. The candidate will develop web based GIS applications with ArcGIS JavaScript API.
Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently as a GIS developer in an agile environment with a delivery expectation of new features.
- Work extensively with Esri's suite of applications and tools to develop web-based products.
- Designs develop, enhances, debugs, and implements interactive and batch software.
- Researches, tests, builds and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
- Consults with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements.
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.
- Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Effective communications, verbal and written, with the customers, managers, and others is required.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in related field of study.
- 3+ years of experience of web GIS application development using ArcGIS Javascript API.
- React experience is a plus.
- Experience of ArcGIS services is a plus
- Experience of Geoprocessing service development is a plus
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work well in a team setting.
- Ability to learn.
- Good team player.
Additional Information:
- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.

Other Information:
- The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $105,000 annually.
