AECOM is seeking a GIS Specialist III in our Baltimore, MD office to support our Water Resources practice.

With more than 3,200 Water professionals in all major markets throughout the United States and Canada, AECOM's Water business line leverages nearly a century of local, national and international project experience to provide today's municipalities, industries and governments with cost-effective solutions to their Water challenges. We deliver our services-from environmental planning studies to detailed design, construction management, and operations and maintenance-to a wide range of public and private sector clients. Our public sector work encompasses everything from small rural communities to large urban centers, to agencies with regional responsibilities. - Utilize GIS to produce, display, and analyze spatial information
- Develop and maintain databases, reports, and mapping
- Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes
- Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated components
- Will use concepts, practices and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients
- Lead project specific tasks while working closely with project team to meet client deadlines
- Maintain an effective and frequent line of communication amongst team members and clients
- Data collection, creation, conversion, and editing

Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in Geography, Engineering, Planning, Watershed Science or related degree + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Watershed Science, Engineering, Planning, Information Service or other related field with a strong emphasis in GIS
- Candidate should possess three (3) years of demonstrated GIS analysis and work experience
- Perform data conversion from multiple formats (PDF, TIFF, JPEG, CAD) into GIS datasets
- Develop maps and map products (map books, visual aids, slides) utilizing GIS data
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS products with emphasis on ArcGIS Pro
- Strong understanding of spatial data
- Geodatabase management experience for and data operations, including setup, schema, domains, relationship classes, and topology and network model rules
- Knowledge of workflow automation, and model building, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as python, R, JavaScript
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Develop web maps (AGOL, ArcGIS Portal) and Esri field solutions (ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123) for project staff to collect, review project data, and maintain online services
- Experience working with underground utility (e.g. water, wastewater, sewer and/or stormwater) industry, environmental/natural resources
- Understanding of ESRI Utility Network solutions
