GL Accountant

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

• Handling general ledger activities such as posting journals, accruals, provisions, revaluations , account reconciliations, inventory and fixed asset accounting,

• overseeing AP and AR functions from a statutory compliance perspective,

• performing month-end closing activities according to US GAAP,

• BS reconciliation and analysis

• VAT compliance, checking invoices in cooperation with SSC, supporting the preparation of VAT returns, intrastat reporting,

• preparing statistical, national bank and statutory reporting,

• supporting internal and external statutory audit,

• participating in the automation and standardization of financial processes.

• Language skills: Polish, English (intermediate or above)

• 3 years of experience in similar position, experience with manufacturing accounting would be an asset

• Practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulation

• Academic background in Finance, Accounting or related fields

• Knowledge of MS Office, M3 - would be an asset
