In our Warsaw Shared Service Center we are currently looking for a GL Accountant for a full-time, permanent employment contract, for our South West team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing GL operational activities such as posting accruals, prepayments, etc.
• Making sure all month end closing activities are performed accurately and timely.
• Effective cooperation with other teams, such as Payroll, AP, Cash Application, VAT, Credit Control.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ownership of all GL accounts, follow-up of outstanding items with other teams.
• Analysis of variances and fluctuations in P&L and BS.

The Individual

• At least 2 years’ experience in General Ledger or any other Accounting Department.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Finances, Accounting, or similar area.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• ACCA certificate is advantage (nice to have).
• Good knowledge of modern accounting practices.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Very good communication skills.
• Multi-tasking, ability to work with deadlines.
• Self-reliant, proactive, and highly motivated.
