Your Role and Responsibilities
- As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our people, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and driving business results through effective management and leadership.
- The first line manager will oversee a team of 25 - 30 executive assistants for North America and Costa Rica-based IBM executives.
- Providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success, fostering a culture of open communication, transparency, and accountability, encouraging feedback and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews to ensure employee needs are met and goals are achieved, client facing skills, identify issues and implement actions to handle internal client escalation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and employee engagement, Identify and address talent development needs, providing opportunities for growth and career advancement.
- Collaborate with other leaders to align team goals with business objectives and drive organizational success.
- This manager will be responsible for the Assistants who have a working schedule based on US EST, CST, and PST time zones under following working hours 6am - 3pm, 7pm - 4pm or 9am - 6pm all of this schedule affected by daylight saving period. This schedule may change based on business needs.
