The Global Audit & Advisory Data Analytics Manager role is responsible for leading, planning, and executing critical projects across business units, key functions, and processes in areas related to the following: Internal Audit, Compliance, Business Process Reviews, Risk Assessments, etc. Additionally the candidate should have a proven-track record of advancement and possess the ability to develop and maintain business relationships and the ability to provide pragmatic recommendations that add value to the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities is also required.
This position will report directly to the Global Audit & Advisory (GAA) Director in the US and will work closely with other GAA Colleagues on key data analytics projects. This "hands on" role also has high visibility to senior management at the different locations as needed and represents the GAA function in various company related activities.

The GAA team is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity that is-guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the operations of TU. GAA assists the organization in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization's risk management, control, and governance processes.
GAA collaborates with Business Unit and Functional leadership and their Associates in developing strong, professional and independent relationships to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business to enable value added recommendations that improve efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, the group also maintains a strong collaboration with the company's external auditor to perform management's SOX testing activities in an efficient manner.
What you'll bring:
- Major in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or Data Analytics, preferred
- Five (5) or more years of experience in data analytics services, required
- Three (2+) or more years of experience leading Data Analytics projects, responsible for team management and delivery, required
- Prior experience leading data-driven audit procedures, data analytics, an/or creating data visualization presentation is highly preferred
- Experience in various areas of an organization with a good understanding of basic business processes (e.g., any of the following would be preferred: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Internal Audit, Operations, Finance/Accounting, Marketing), preferred
- Prior experience supervising and managing a high performing team
- Must possess the highest professional and personal standards and business ethics.
- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to build effective partnerships across the organization at all levels.
- Experience in the following areas, preferred: Business Intelligence and Data Visualization

A successful Data Analytics Manager:
- Maintains a proactive and logical approach to information gathering, combining complex ideas and presents information clearly and effectively
- Identifies and researches latest trends and tools, understands the data analytics marketplace while working in a dedicated data analytics on GAA projects and audits
- Manages teams in conducting complex analytics, meeting deadlines, and quality deliverables
- Works with audit teams to perform on importing data, developing queries, and performing analysis
- Supervises the day-to-day workload of Senior Associates and Associates on assigned engagements
- Evaluates the performance of Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development
- Mentors and trains junior colleagues
- Assist with GAA transformation efforts to identify efficiencies in TU's existing audit procedures
- Support the career development goals of a high performing team consisting of senior and staff level employees by providing regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities
- Partner with functional leadership and their staff in developing strong, professional and independent relationships to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business to enable value added recommendations that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
