RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Team Overview: The Regulatory Controls Management Team (RCM) centrally manages preventive (pre-trade) and detective (post-trade) controls and processes for different regulatory obligations within the Global Banking & Markets division. The team focuses on the design, implementation, and enhancements of trading controls for Sales & Trading, including alert management and escalation to key stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop subject matter expertise on covered obligations, including design of preventive and detective trade business controls for new regulatory implementation, identify and implement enhancements to existing controls.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to streamline preventive and detective control design, workflows, and processes across obligations.
- Support regulatory obligation coverage to effectively investigate and remediate trading control issues that may arise.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor control effectiveness through alert management.
- Build relationships with Sales/Trading, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Engineering globally to design and improve business control workflows for new regulatory implementations.
- Develop management reporting (e.g. metrics, dashboards) to improve visibility and facilitate escalation to obligation owners, desks and senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience. Exposure to global markets businesses and trade lifecycle with a focus on Sales & Trading workflows and/or regulatory background.
- Ability to translate and analyze data to perform root cause / trending / impact analysis to drive decision making.
- Strong time and project management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Sales/Trading, Engineering, Operations and Change Management to facilitate issue resolution and support strategic initiatives.
- Experience with data blending and data visualization software such as Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI are desirable, but not required.
- Keen to develop a career in Global Banking and Markets working environment.
- Familiarity with derivative products, sales & trading booking platforms and trade flows.
