Role Overview

Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates are the macro markets that form the backbone of the global economy, requiring that an FX salesperson keep up-to-date on geopolitical news events and market movements throughout the global economy. Our client base consists of hedge funds, central banks, corporates and insurance/pension companies and we trade scores of currency pairs in developed and emerging markets.

Primary goal from Bengaluru is to create more opportunities for the desk to invest their time exclusively on revenue generating activities. We strive to eliminate manual and redundant activities carried out at the desk by critically analyzing the merit of pre-existing functions and finding a refined, more value-added substitute.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Post trading activities such as trade allocations, amendments, Novations , pre-liquidations, terminations & unwinds etc.

• Working closely with the respective Sales desk & supporting with executions & client interaction

• For products like FX Spot, forward/NDFs, vanilla/complex exotic Options, Interest Rate Swaps and Swaptions etc

• Work closely with the desk to help run and develop key trade analysis/metrics which are focus areas for the business.

• Coordinate with Tech, Ops and client onboarding teams to help onboard new clients/funds on various single and multi-dealers electronic trading platforms across asset class.

• Coordinate with Ops and Client middle office on resolving various open post/pre trade issues.

• Managing post trading risk by closely monitoring front to back trade flows & systems

• Work with tech to develop new tools & applications to better control risk and enhance the current process to be more efficient.

• Work with Tech & various internal /external Teams to automate redundant & legacy flow in order to save time & ultimately improve client experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record

• MBA is preferred.

• Experience & knowledge in basic to advance excel & other automation tools is preferred.

• 1-3 years' of relevant work experience & a good understanding of Fixed Income products

• Good understanding of trade life cycle in FX & Rates

• Strong Interest in global financial markets and derivatives.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and verbal) skills

• Solid work ethic and high levels of motivation.
