Position Description
The Global Benefits Program Manager develops, implements, administers and maintains employee health and welfare, and retirement programs. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, and leave of absence management, as well as create and communicate benefits and wellness offerings. This role will ensure the global benefits program meets the employee’s needs, comply with legal requirements and are cost effective.Â
Responsibilities
- Effectively evaluate and manage benefits vendors and oversee the annual renewal and enrollment process
- Manages the day-to-day administration of the group retirement and health and welfare plans
- Build out and improve upon employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and wellness programs
- Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys and other sources of information
- Responsible for overall benefit communications to increase employee awareness and engagement
- Assure company compliance with provisions of any country requirements. and complete all annual filings
- Manage the leave of absence programs, including any country specific requirements
- Responsible for retirement plan administration and annual compliance/audits
- Responsible for HRIS benefits oversight to ensure systems and data are accurate and effective
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, CEBS certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience as a benefits specialist or benefits manager
- Familiarity with global benefits concepts and market practices
- Experience using payroll and HR systems such as Workday preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of the benefits field, including an understanding of country, federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Strong change management, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
- Experience working effectively with business teams and leaders
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying problems and solutions
- Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.Â
- Fluent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google documents, as well as imports, uploads, and interfaces.
Base pay range: $65,600 - $96,250, commensurate with experience.
