This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing billing operations team in a global financial services environment. You will oversee client setup, invoice generation, and analytics across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The position requires close collaboration with onshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence, process improvements, and system automation. You will provide subject matter expertise, handle escalations, and coach your team to adopt an ownership mindset while meeting tight deadlines. This role combines analytical rigor, financial acumen, and leadership skills in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. You will have direct impact on billing quality, revenue processes, and overall client satisfaction. Accountabilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the billing operations team, including client setup, fee schedule configuration, and invoice creation
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for operational, people, and system-related issues, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with onshore teams to balance workloads, align deliverables, and meet timelines across multiple business units
  • Conduct financial analyses, variance reporting, and revenue accrual reviews, providing insights to stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and adoption of best practices across the billing function
  • Coach and develop team members, establishing goals, providing feedback, and promoting an ownership mindset
  • Participate in or lead function-specific projects and initiatives, including client onboarding, system enhancements, and analytical reporting
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting (CA/CPA), or MBA Finance
    • 7–10 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing operations, or financial planning and analysis, ideally in a global financial services setting
    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (ORMB preferred) and O2C processes, with experience in system automation and financial modeling
    • Proven leadership skills in managing and developing teams, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interact with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
    • Ability to adapt to changing environments, manage complex operational tasks, and maintain high-quality deliverables
