SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a member of the Integrated Supply Chain - Contract Manufacturing Organization (ISC-CMO), the Project Manager will lead the execution of projects to support growth, productivity, and globalization of our manufacturing capability.

Scope of projects typically include executing manufacturing footprint initiatives such as integrating the CMO into new regions globally, integrating new businesses into the CMO, or expanding capacity and capability within a currently supported region.

Projects may also include deployment and sustainment of CMO Hoshin plans, Partner capability development, documentation and integration of BMS/QMS documents, start-ups, insource / outsource, and integration of merger and acquisitions into manufacturing. Some projects may involve development or redesign of manufacturing engineering business processes or toolsets.

• Manages execution of projects of varying size and scope simultaneously.
• Manages assigned projects and teams within schedule, budget and customer service targets.
• Reviews project metrics. Measures performance against requirements. Drives appropriate action.
• Identifies stakeholders, manages communications, and ensures engagement.
• Manages and reports all financial aspects of assigned projects.
• Utilize project management tools and scheduling techniques.

Leadership

• Leads multi-site cross functional teams - typically including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Inventory Control, Quality, Sourcing, BU Performance Engineering, Finance, IT, and other resources.
• Consistently moves problems towards resolution when encountering obstacles and uncertain conditions, and helps others do same.
• Responsible for resource scheduling to meet project plan requirements.
• Coaches and develops resources assigned to projects.

• Seeks and incorporates relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or making decisions.

Business

• Complete responsibility for successful outcome of projects.
• Responsible for the plan, budget, structure, and schedule of assigned projects.
• Identify project staffing needs and coordinate through leadership for necessary team members to be assigned as needed. Escalate and resolve gaps.
• Maintain internal reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' experience within manufacturing engineering and operations.
• Fluent in English
• Ability to engage globally, requiring a flexible daily schedule to accommodate time zone differences.
• Project management experience.
• Sixty hours of formal PMI based Project Management training.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Possess critical competencies as defined in the Project Manager Competency Profile.
• Master's in Engineering or Business discipline.
• Familiarity with SAP or equivalent MRP
• Possess product, process, and technology knowledge relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders.
• Very good negotiation skills.
• Very good conflict resolution and people interface skills.
• Readiness to travel (domestic and international).
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.

Travel: Depends on location of the project.

• During project initiation phase, up to 10%
• During execution / implementation in another location, up to 25%.
