Global Cash and Treasury Accounting Analyst
Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in cash accounting or treasury transactions in a global multi-location organization.
- 4 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 1 year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MBA, or MSA.
- Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,000-$142,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Account for cash activities and prepare cash reconciliations focusing heavily on new Alphabet initiatives and projects.
- Support growth for new entities and initiatives by building a scalable cash accounting framework.
- Partner with teams across the organization to investigate and resolve cash reconciling items.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activities in accordance with our internal policies and SOX framework.
- Support Treasury accounting activities (e.g., investments) by completing month-end close activities and associated reporting and assist in developing timely, accurate, insightful, actionable reporting and dashboards for cash and treasury activities.
