About the role:
The Global C&B Manager will be expected to focus on development, implementation and management of best compensation & benefits strategies and action plans across Altium globally, to attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high performing and engaged workforce, which support Altium's business strategies and objectives achieved successfully.
A day in the life of our {Job Title}:
  • Perform complex research and analysis on compensation & benefits policies and practices in the areas of job evaluation, base salary, variable pay, pay structures, internal equity, external market trends, and regulatory compliance
  • Research best practices and trends and perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation solutions and present to management findings and alternative solutions that are cost effective and consistent with market data and Altium's logic of rewarding employees
  • Develop and administer various compensation programs including annual salary planning process, promotion, demotion, etc.
  • Review and design best practices of benefits packages for global employees with efficiency and effectiveness, with a cost-efficiency mind, keep records and evaluate results of employee beneficial plans, improving through times
  • Provides leadership and support to the HR team by fielding and addressing general compensation & benefits questions and data inquiries
  • Provides thought leadership on competitive marketplace, business issues and challenges to effectively design or recommend new compensation plans, benefits programs and/or policies
  • Assesses and develops the business case and ROI for new and existing compensation programs and benefits projects that support the unique needs of different business clients
  • Proactively leads a team to build consultative and collaborative relationships with HRs, BPs and Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders on compensation & benefits programs and initiatives

Who We're Looking For:
  • You have a Bachelor degree or above in a relevant field of study
  • At least 8 years of working experience in a dynamic multinational company, preferred in the field of compensation design with a history of increasing responsibility and outstanding outcomes
  • Experience in design and managing global compensations, understanding compensation regulations and strategies at least in the US, EMEA and China
  • Experience in the high-tech industry, especially in software companies is strongly preferred, knowledge of cloud/SaaS business is a strong plus
  • Strong experience in articulating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to a range of audiences from C-suite to users of different departments
  • Proven track record with developing materials for Board presentation and disclosure

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
