Avetta is looking for a Global Compliance Specialist with experience in Global Regulatory Compliance, Supply Chain Risk Management, Contractor Risk Management with focus on HSE, Insurance, and ESG. The candidate must be highly organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a growth mindset and be a self-starter.ย
You will be in a role that is a hybrid of traditional jobs in planning, project management, and operations reporting to Sr. Director of Localization and Global Readiness. You will be able to operate across geographical boundaries, multiple disciplines, have cross-cultural sensitivity and experience of interacting directly with internal stakeholders, clients and 3rd party consultants proactively defining best practice playbooks and processes entering new geographies.ย
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance matters, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure Avetta's products and services align with country specific regulatory standards
- Support our values by promoting the value of our content, increasing customer uptake and championing our mission to make safer and more sustainable supply chains
- Interpret and communicate key regulatory changes implemented within products to internal stakeholders staying current with international regulatory frameworks and industry trends
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of Avetta's products and services to identify potential regulatory compliance gaps. Develop action plans to address any compliance issues and ensure alignment with country specific laws and regulations
- Oversee end-to-end content management process using JIRA
- Conduct Requirements Review Sessions with stakeholders
- Partner with internal and external resources to integrate regulatory compliance requirements into localization processes while meeting client-specific requirements
- Create and maintain accurate records of compliance efforts, including documentation of regulatory assessments, corrective actions, and compliance status reports
- Provide training and guidance to Avetta's teams and partners on global regulatory compliance requirements and best practices
- Ensure accurate and timely deliverables from 3rd party consultancies adhering to established SLAs
- Track and report on quality, cost, and turnaround times of your projects quarterly
- Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns
- Monitor and report on global content completion and rejection metrics identifying gaps within developed forms
- Develop, document and implement efficient and scalable processes
- Proactively drive improvement initiatives in anything related to country specific regulatory content (processes, solutions, quality, data)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience (e.g., Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, HSE..).
- 7+ years of experience in global regulatory compliance, preferably within the Compliance/Risk Management field managing projects for a SaaS organization.
- In-depth knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex regulatory requirements and develop actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate compliance records.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of driving continuous improvement in compliance processes.
- JIRA, Confluence, Wrike, Salesforce experience
- Industry Certifications such as CSP, CRIS, ESG related certifications are preferred.
- Fluency in English in addition to one of the following languages: French, Japanese, German, Dutch or Chinese is a plus
