The mission of a Syndigo Global Controller,and partner to our CFO, is to lead our organization's accounting function. You'll bring exceptional visionary and leadership traits, continuous improvement mindset, GAAP accounting skills, and a genuine entrepreneurial spirit. This is a unique opportunity for a financial executive who wants to be instrumental in the ongoing financial leadership and expansion of a software as a service (SaaS) technology company. This role will have direct involvement with all aspects of the day-to-day business and financings. You're a strategic thinker and tactical implementer, true partner to the business who is unafraid to offer your input on broad business initiatives.
HOW WE'LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

• Assess and lead a remote team across multiple geographies that can support the rapid growth and strategies of the organization
• Lead the preparation of the and deliver transparent, accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial results to the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors, including financial statements, pro forma adjustments, relevant analysis and explanations
• Provide vision and leadership to the attain a 10-day consistent monthly close process as the company continues to acquire and integrate substantial acquisitions.
• Lead the integration of the accounting functions from our recent acquisitions as well as future acquisitions
• Work independently and proactively as a Corporate Global Controller. We need someone who will possess the experience and skills to deliver the necessary outputs in an independent manner as the CFO continues to execute an aggressive M&A strategy and other strategic initiatives
• Translate outputs from financial statements to meaningful data, trends, opportunities and obstacles to the rest of the team. Take the financial statements and communicate to the team exactly what they mean and how it will impact the business as a whole
• Work collaboratively across departments and functions to help provide accurate and on time financials that are the inputs to their KPI's
• Create roadmap to improve the utilization and optimize the Netsuite system including reporting and dashboards
• Drive efficiencies and automation across all accounting processes
• Prepare financial analysis to support ongoing business initiatives
• Partner with the VP of Finance to develop and drive a successful bottoms up budgeting process
• Support the due diligence process, as needed, and be an active participant in the evaluation of acquisition candidates
• Main point of contact for the external auditors, responsible for planning, monitoring and delivering multiple audit reports according to timelines established by the investors and the lending institutions
• Manage consolidated banking relationships including treasury functions and covenant reporting
• Lead the Accounting operations teams in the successful execution of timely, accurate invoicing and collections, cash application, payment of vendors, and creation of metrics which track the success of the team
• Own the relationship with business insurance brokers including the annual renewal process
• Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements including partnering with external tax advisors and legal counsel as needed

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

• Bachelor's degree (CPA license is highly preferred)
• GAAP reporting and budgeting
• Private Equity + Big 4 experience a plus
• Purchase price accounting experience is required, along with deferred revenue accounting experience
• Modeling and cash flow forecasting expertise
• NetSuite and Salesforce systems experience a plus, but not required
• ERP integration experience a plus
