Global Controller

We are looking for a Controller to lead our US and Pakistan Accounting teams and lay the foundation for our next phase of growth. Our ideal candidate will lead all aspects of accounting (AP, AR, payroll, etc.), tax compliance, and treasury. You will develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations.

This is a hybrid position (3 days a week in our Bellevue office).

Lead financial reporting globally (US and Pakistan):

• Oversee the monthly/ quarterly/ annual close process, including maintenance of the general ledger by reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Consolidate multi-currency and two subsidiaries' financial statements.
• Oversee daily AP, AR, Payroll (US and Pakistan) and Cash Management functions
• Track and analyze new rules and regulations related to financial reporting
• Lead annual financial audits and quarterly reviews, build auditor relationships, and partner internally to support operational and compliance programs
• Provide leadership and vision for scaling our financial infrastructure and our accounting team based in the US and Pakistan
• Deep understanding of NetSuite, managing all aspects of its functionality

Ensure tax compliance:

• Manage annual corporate income and franchise tax returns, payroll (US and Pakistan), gross receipts, sales & use tax, and other business tax returns and informational filings globally
• Responsible for reporting and compliance with business taxes: Sales/Use Tax, B&O, Property Tax, etc.

Oversee treasury functions:

• Manage current and cultivate new relationships with external brokers, bankers, and other professional administrators, and provide ongoing banking and accounts oversight
• Own treasury responsibilities tied to the company's bank accounts, and credit cards

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Internal Control requirements
• Strong/Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience in implementing efficiency-enhancing software tools
• Experience in NetSuite
• Experience in managing a remote team
• SaaS industry experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
