Global Cyber Risk & Resiliency Lead

As a Security Consultant you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Provide global leadership and guidance for all Cyber Risk & Resiliency matters including the end-to-end cyber risk management the business continuity lifecycle crisis management and other cyber and resiliency risks.

• Review and analyze cyber risk information to identify emerging risks update risk inventory quantify cyber risks impact and facilitate management oversight and reporting of cyber risk.

• Drive the design and implementation of effective development of risk assessments risk quantification & impact analyses business impact analyses protection and recovery strategies.

• Lead motivate and develop a high performing team. Set the overall direction of functions in the organization for the area including full accountability for strategic planning and operational execution across multiple functions.

• Make data-driven decisions: Be truth-seeking with data.

• Identify operational and structural opportunities and help to improve existing or develop new processes to drive efficiency.

• Design and execute high-impact cyber risk initiatives that provide increased value to organizations.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global cyber risk management and policy strategy.

• Identify potential cyber risks assess and apply techniques to quantify their impact and create mitigation plans.

• Lead the team in high-priority escalations scenarios driving an action-oriented approach while liaising with senior executives to coordinate cross functional effort.

• Monitor and analyze industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact client’s outcomes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure practices adhere to the evolving local and international regulations and standards.

• Work with engagement teams in different geographies and markets to drive and execute on client delivery scenarios.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 15 years of experience in a management consulting delivery role with a focus on Cyber Risk Management or similar types of functions at a technology company.
• Minimum 15 years of people management experience leading a large team in a large-scale management consulting delivery role or at a technology company with significant experience working across multi-markets in a global business.
• Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders. Build strong relationships. Be able to resolve issues without escalation. Coach and support teams to navigate through conflicting priorities.
• Demonstrated strong experience collaborating with senior executive partners in product sales solutioning and delivery departments to drive outcomes.
• Proven experience in vision and planning setting setting metrics measurement criteria frameworks and roadmap development.
• Demonstrated understanding of product and platform risk processes including machine learning and model optimization human-in-the-loop Artificial Intelligence systems data sources and systems risk measurement processes oversight and reporting.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Advanced degree in Business Risk Management Business Analytics or related discipline.
• Leadership experience with a high level of accountability and ownership with rigorous attention to detail.
