Global Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist
As a Global Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing social media projects that align with our strategic goals. You will support social media governance, manage social media strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive global engagement.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing social media projects, manage schedules and resources, monitor progress, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Governance in Social Media: Support the development and implementation of social media policies, ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards, and participate in crisis management.
- Social Media Management: Contribute to the creation and execution of social media strategies, utilize management tools (Sprinklr), and help develop engaging content to drive audience engagement. Analyze and report on campaign performance and metrics to optimize future strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- 3-4 years of experience in social media or media agency work, including paid and organic communication.
- Experience in project coordination within marketing, particularly in social media.
- Strong knowledge of key social platforms (Facebook Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, X) and experience with social media governance and compliance. Familiarity with other platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency with social media management tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer.
- Strong understanding of international markets and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries is highly desirable.
