Job Description

The Global Digital Marketing Experience Manager - Full Stack is responsible for leading and managing full stack developers within the Global Digital Marketing Experience (GDMX) organization supporting Rockwell Automation, Fiix, and Plex brands. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end development process, coordinating the efforts of front-end and back-end developers for FiixSoftware.com, Plex.com and

RockwellAutomation.com.

What You Will Be Doing:

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Set clear objectives, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for professional development.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with other teams, such as UI/UX, research, QA, and product owners, to facilitate seamless project execution.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest development trends, technologies, and best practices development.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, assisting with complex problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging exploring and adoption new tools and technologies.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, documentation practices, and development processes.
  • Guide the development of our growing design system ensuring it is scalable, flexible, and adaptable to different platforms and technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UI/UX, stakeholders, and other development teams to align development efforts with business objectives.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the development team, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations, scope and goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant program or equivalent work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required - we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5+) years of experience in web development
  • Two (2+) years of people management experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end and back-end frameworks and languages such as Java, .NET, PHP, HTML5, CSS3/LESS CSS, JavaScript, Python, React and Angular
  • Strong knowledge of browser support for modern web technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage programs and projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems: Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, WordPress
  • Experience with Web Tag Management systems such as Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with CDN such as Cloudfront, Fastly, and Akamai
  • Experience with cookie compliance platforms such as OneTrust
  • Experience with chat software such as Drift and ChatGPT
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with personalization tools such as Adobe Target
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Proficiency with version control and code management applications such as GitHub
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Confluence and JIRA) or similar suite preferred
  • Experience developing operational processes
  • Experience coding for accessibility and search optimization
  • Familiarity with multiple functional suites and software packages for requirements (Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge and experience with multiple SDLCs such as Agile, Scrum, and traditional waterfall
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Superb organizational skills and attention to detail

The base salary compensation range for this role is $121,440 - $182,460 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our company benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
