What is the key purpose of a Global Director of Partner Business Operations? 

We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and dedicated inaugural Global Director of Partner Business Operations who will lead the implementation and execution of a Global Strategic Partnership team. Based in New York, the Global Director position is being established to improve organizational performance, drive innovation, and promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the global Strategic Partnership organization. 

In this role, the Global Director will be a key part of the Strategic Partnership Leadership Team and will report to the global Strategic Partnership VP. The successful candidate will act as an individual contributor, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of internal Taboola systems and operations, and rely on excellent relationship building and collaboration experience in order to creatively meet the needs of Strategic Partnership teams. 

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you:

  • Account management and leadership experience, with prior strong Sales or Account management track record
  • 10+ years experience of working in an operations, sales or client facing role in the ad tech space
  • Ability to effectively translate high-level global strategy into process requirements and nuanced local implementation plans, then execute them on a company-wide basis 
  • Extensive knowledge and ongoing inclination towards web technologies and their application towards the digital media revenue ecosystem, especially web advertising measurements and analytics 
  • Exemplary ability to manage competing priorities, perform in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, have a high attention to detail, and remain organized 
  • Demonstrate analytical and communication skills, with the aptness to collect business intelligence by monitoring and identifying data trends, and present information credibly and effectively
  • Excellence in relationship building with cross functional stakeholders with the ability to effectively listen and dissect various business units’ needs, obstacles, and opportunities

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

As a Global Director of Partner Business Operations, you will: 

  • Serve as a global subject matter expert and voice of the Strategic Partnerships team, fulfilling responsibilities as primary point of contact for all internal teams including Product Marketing, Product Management, Professional Services and Sales Operations
  • Interface with global Strategic Partnerships Leadership team to identify, prioritize and strategically expand upon areas of growth, pinpoint and remedy obstacles to the business 
  • Serve as a bridge between VP of Strategic Partnerships and internal partners, helping to facilitate communication and ensure everyone is aligned around the team vision and goals
  • Provide analysis and consultation to the VP of Strategic Partnerships on important decisions, helping to weigh the pros / cons of different options and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Manage cross functional projects and initiatives related to strategic partners
  • Work with internal supporting teams to ensure their processes and SLAs are built to meet the needs of strategic partners
  • Ensure the entire team is working towards the quarterly plan and that everyone is held accountable for their actions / results
  • Collaborate with FP&A to allocate quotas to the global Advertiser Sales and Account Management teams, interface with Sales Operations to design effective commission plans that reward and incentivize excellent sales behaviors and outcomes
