Job Description

The Global Director of Strategy & Programs is responsible for optimizing the Intake and Triage Global management team, via systems, processes, quality audits formatting across the global regions through driving KPI's and forward-thinking strategic initiatives. They will build and lead a highly effective center of excellence for both long term and day to day operations to meet and or exceed function globally. They will serve on both the call center launches, program implementations, change management globally providing significant contribution to the strategic direction and standardization of the program management function across Olympus. They will take a lead role in building positive relationships with both internal and external customers. This position reports into the Executive Director Global Complaint Intake.

Job Duties

* Collaborate with Olympus global leadership teams to ensure that the service delivered is consistent and in accordance with response expectations across quality, compliance, and international regulations and standards such as FDA (21 CFR 820.198) Complaint handling and (21 CFR 803.3) MDR reporting and company goals.

* Build strong program management talent within the global sites through influential leadership and functional developments.

* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate a compelling vision for program management and drive results while developing a strong team.

* Inspire enthusiasm and participation in the continuous improvement drive for Program Management across all-region at Olympus.

* Development and ownership of project timelines, budget, risks and communications.

* Project management support of key functional areas Intake and Triage and task for post quality market and interactions with external development partners and key collaborators as needed.

* Management of cross-functional project teams, establish team goals, set strategic directions and operational plans for assigned programs.

* Validation of Team and Projects in their current, desired, and future states to meet and or exceeding requirements for Market Quality rand other regulatory authorities worldwide.

* Obtain stakeholder buy-in and present solutions that demonstrate the return on investment for recommended improvements.

* Ability to drive creative problem solving, and conflict resolution to daily tasks.

* Lead a highly effective center of excellence for both long term and day to day operations to meet and or exceed function globally.

* Optimizing the Intake and Triage Global management team, via systems, processes, quality audits formatting across the global regions through driving KPI's and forward-thinking strategic initiatives

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, communications, or scientific discipline. Equivalent years of experience in the business operation field and or medical device.

* Minimum of 10 years of senior level progressive leadership of a professional staff, or equivalent experience leading teams or work groups.

* Proficient understanding of medical device customer relationship management, including domestic and international medical device regulations which include complaint handling, and regulatory inspections.

* Excellent management, communication and people skills required to influence and manage multiple resources, most of which are not under direct authority. Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation.

* Up to 50% domestic travel, occasional international travel may be required.

* Strong communication skills, expresses ideas fluently and logically, is open to input and can be depended on for truthfulness.

* * The anticipated compensation range for this position is $139,000 to $194,000 USD annually and the compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications.
