Brady offers a hybrid work option that allows for both personal flexibility and in person collaboration to deliver the greatest outcomes for our people and customers. This option is a mix of in the office and one or two offsite days which are pre-determined based on role and function.
What We Need:
We're on the hunt for a top-notch Global Director of UX to join our team and lead the charge on improving the customer experience and design of our websites. Are you a seasoned pro with a track record of delivering successful UX projects on a global scale? Do you have what it takes to inspire and mentor a team? If so, we'd love to chat. As the Global Director of UX, you'll be responsible for defining and executing the UX strategy for our websites. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams like product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure the UX vision aligns with the company's goals. You'll also be in charge of defining and evangelizing UX best practices within the organization, and mentoring and developing the skills of your UX team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute the global UX strategy for our websites
- Mentor and develop the skills of the UX team
- Conduct user research and analysis to understand the needs and behaviors of our website visitors
- Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize UX goals and features
- Develop high-level and detailed wireframes, prototypes, and designs to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and validate designs
- Run A/B tests to understand statistical impact of design choices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the user experience of our websites
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- 6+ years of experience in UX design
- Proven experience leading UX teams and delivering successful UX projects
- A strong portfolio of UX design work, with a focus on website design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with user research and user testing
- Proficiency with design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Adept at using web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and Google Optimize
