The Yahoo Global Events and Experiential Marketing team drives strategy, creates experiences and executes Digital and IRL experiences horizontally across the B2B, B2C and internal business units. The award-winning team is involved from beginning to end, influencing revenue, meeting KPI's and driving real business results.
Description:
The Event Intern position supports the strategic planning, execution and oversight of company events which include conference sponsorships, client entertainment and internal company events. These events are closely aligned with the corporate marketing and sales strategy. This position will support various tasks as assigned on all elements of a program; including research, registration and list management, administrative and on-site event support. This individual must be a team player, who can multi-task and is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Global Events team on both internal and external virtual and in-person events.
• Being highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, resourceful, detail-minded, organized, capable of working under pressure, and committed to delivering the best, all while maintaining a great sense of humor and team collaboration throughout the process.
• Assisting Global Events team with administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
• • Managing and tracking multiple project deliverables and timelines
  • Creating registration forms and tracking event attendance using various event platforms such as SplashThat
  • Data and analytics entry
  • Creating decks in google slides and powerpoint
  • Shipping, packing and moving event materials up to 50 lbs
  • Post-event tracking and ROI analysis

The compensation for this position ranges from $45,760.00 - $135,200.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
