Job Description:

• The role involves the screening and analysis of offshore fund outlets for use in client portfolios.
• It includes coverage of macroeconomic and fundamental analysis of geographic regions and sectors.
• Provide back-up function to Portfolio Manager

Preferred skills (heading) / Compétences particulières (titre)

• Background in macroeconomics and financial analysis
• Good communication skills for interactions with external and internal entities
• Ability to produce timely and actionable research reports
• Ability to present and defend investment thesis

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

• Bachelor's degree in finance or economics, or related management course
• Preferably with at least two (2) years' experience in relevant analytical role
• MBA, CFA, or CFA-candidate a plus

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

• Maintain and enhance the internal scoring methodology and scorecards
• Conduct regular due diligence on fund issuers and fund vehicles
• Accreditation of new investment outlets and annual renewals of existing securities
• Provide actionable ideas to the Portfolio Managers
• Provide support to client facing teams in the form of reports or speaking engagements
• As needed, act as back-up to the Portfolio Manager
