Position Summary

As a Global Fusion Manager, you will work across business functions and with IT to identify and create new FUSION solutions and capabilities. Your job duties include evaluating business needs, documenting solution requirements, and translating data between business users and technical developers.

Job Description

• Develop an understanding of the business logic and the technical expertise needed to meet long-term business needs.
• Learn FUSION's systems and points of connection with other business applications.
• Test functionality and troubleshoot issues of new capabilities
• Verify solutions meet business and user needs
• Coordinate training, development of training documentation and conduct user training
• Coordinates enterprise FUSION projects; directing requirements definition, planning scope of work for developers, validation testing, and implementation, utilizing established project management tools and techniques.
• Assesses organizational needs, propose potential paths and provides guidance to IT FUSION Developers.
• Communicates across the enterprise and coordinates with user groups regarding applications, framing new application solutions, determining system requirements and modification of systems.
• Make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
• Works closely with Chief Security Officer to ensure all systems and data are secure, meet all company and compliance standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Polymer, Chemical or Process Engineering, Chemistry or related field required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to, interact and work with people of diverse social, academic, and technical backgrounds.
• Experience working across business teams; I&D, SC, CQA, Portfolio, Regulatory, Sales etc.
• Strongly developed project management skills are required.
• High level understanding of FUSION workflows and functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of the current business logic; Sealed Air-centric rules, that manage the exchange of information between the FUSION database and the FUSION UI.
• Some experience in software development will greatly enhance the level of communication when interacting with IT developers.
