We want to find the best Global Head of Compensation for this outstanding role and support the location and schedule that enables you to do your best work. This role reports to Jessica Sziebert, the Vice President of Global Total Rewards.

Your Impact:- Own and continue to evolve Anaplan’s global compensation strategy and philosophy and ensure it remains aligned with our mission and core values;
- Lead and develop Anaplan’s compensation team;
- Lead the delivery of all compensation programs including merit, equity, and bonus;
- Lead all compensation initiatives, including the strategy and execution of job evaluations/leveling, market matching and surveys, competitive analysis, updating compensation structures, and maintaining governance and compliance;
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Talent Acquisition team on pay decisions;
- Develop policies and guidelines to support Anaplan’s continued growth;
- Develop strategic partnerships with our finance, legal, and sales operations teams to deliver programs that are budget-aligned, market relevant, and compliant;
- Develop training programs to educate leaders, managers, and colleagues on the company's compensation programs;
- Work cross-functionally to develop sales compensation aligned to our go-to-market strategy;
- Research and share standard methodologies and emerging trends in compensation.
- You have built a number of large-scale reward or recognition programs from the ground up, at a high growth technology company. You understand the comp big picture and can use the various levers effectively. You are an expert on equity as a compensation tool and have experience with executive compensation;
- 10+ years demonstrable experience managing compensation programs and processes at high-growth, technology, public company(s);
- Focus on talent landscape in highly competitive environments/geographies;
- Demonstrable track record of leading and building effective teams;
- Unafraid to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas around Compensation and Total Rewards and its evolving role in technology companies;
- Experience in a global environment including an understanding of systems, financial, legal, and tax implications of global compensation programs;
- Experience in building and communicating an equity value proposition and managing employee/candidate expectations around equity;
- Experience working with senior leaders including influencing and partnering;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization, including distilling complex topics into digestible formats;
- Experience and examples of "storytelling with data". Using data to shift an approach or reinforce an idea/program/strategy;
- A solid understanding of compensation practices, current compensation trends, and survey data;
- A deep dedication to customer service and empathy.
