Position Overview:
Serving as a Commercial Leadership Team member, this role leads the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) and Commercial Operations groups. The role scope includes GTM commercial model design & recommendations, performance management metrics, business insights and analytics, and operational execution of proposals, sales enablement, and inside sales.
This role is responsible for building, acquiring, and overseeing capabilities contributing to Endpoint's overall performance, competitiveness, and operational excellence. Under this person’s leadership, the team will be accountable for generating deep customer and market-driven actionable insights and making key recommendations to senior leadership.
Additionally, they are responsible for designing, building, and managing several business-critical functions including proposal development, inside sales, and sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Drive key strategic commercial business decisions by developing and executing insights and analytics projects, including steering project design and execution, interfacing with BIA team members and external vendors, and presenting results and strategic insights in a timely manner and within budget.Â
- Build capability and processes to measure performance - top line sales, customer and rep level including weekly sales forecasting.
- Lead and assess go-to-market model design & recommendations including territory and quota development and associated comp plan development.
- Lead and develop the inside sales organization with associated ROI metrics.
- Lead proposal development function and ensure optimized proposals to maximize win rates while driving SLAs to meet customer demands.
- Enhance operational capabilities to drive efficiency across the Commercial organization.Â
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields of study. MBA or a graduate degree, a plus.
Experience:
- 10-15 years in leadership roles in the life sciences industry, preferably in IRT or supply chain management.
- 5 years of commercial leadership experience ideally in clinical services or eClinical space.
- Functional experience in finance, marketing, and/or sales is considered a strong plus.Â
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.Â
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify key issues and value drivers, and translate strategic insights into an appropriate analytical framework.
- Strong collaboration and team effectiveness skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting complex information and insights effectively.
