Global Head of Quoting Operations

As the Global Head of Quoting Operations, you will build and lead a global team that provides end-to-end guidance and support to Account Executives and Sales leaders on the deal process across quote structuring, approval process, deal signature and handoff to order management. You will be the business liaison between the Sales Team and Legal, Orders Management, Finance and other cross-functional teams to drive an accurate and efficient quoting and deal execution process. You will take ownership of continued scaling, innovation and automation of quoting operations. You will also provide leadership and management oversight to all Commercial and QTC related teams in Costa Rica, from Commercial Operations to Revenue Operations. 

The impact you will have:

• Build a team that guides and supports Sales globally on the end-to-end deal structuring and quoting process 
• Establish Quoting Operations as a global function
• Be a trusted advisor to Sales and Finance leadership across the full portfolio of quotes from creation to closed/won and handover to order management
• Establish governance and tracking of metrics for continuous improvement of the process, including Sales support SLAs, quote turn-around times, order form accuracy, and data integrity
• Own projects and initiatives to scale Quoting operations as Databricks grows in customers, products and contractual complexity

What we look for:

• 10 or more years of experience leading teams in Quoting Operations, Deal Desk, Pricing Operations, Sales Operations and/or Contract Operations/Management
• Proven track record of building and scaling a global internal or external support function
• Deep understanding of B2B software / technology commercial models, deal structures, Quote-to-Cash (QTC) process and revenue operations
• Experience with SFDC, Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ), Contract Management and Billing system 
• Experience in implementing, innovating and automating new processes through rigorous governance and metrics
• Expertise in working effectively and leading autonomously across multiple teams in situations of ambiguity, with only high-level direction
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree
