About the role:
Carbyne is looking for a Sr. Manager, Global Talent Acquisition. This role will report directly to the EVP of People and will manage recruiters in the US and in Israel. This role can be remote in the US.
In this role, you will be responsible for securing our most critical asset - our talent. You will design, build, and run a world-class talent acquisition team that enables us to define our talent needs and hire talent quickly, efficiently, and effectively. You will also own the recruitment for our most strategic roles.
The leader must possess the vision and experience necessary to define a global talent acquisition strategy, as well as the operational expertise to optimize each moment in the recruiting lifecycle. This role will require an equal balance of analytic, results-driven, and human-centric skills, combining the ability to synthesize data into a compelling narrative, while also effectively communicating, engaging, influencing, and partnering with key stakeholders across the organization. This person will collaborate closely with hiring leaders, HR partners and leverage the tools and resources required to attract and select top talent.
Here's what you'll be working on:
- Accountable for end-to-end talent acquisition strategy; attracting and hiring the best global talent across all levels and business units
- Oversee talent acquisition programs and operations, including the full life-cycle recruitment including internship programs and enhancements of employment branding alongside our Marketing team.
- Understand business objectives and translate those objectives into talent needs and a hiring plan
- Based on the hiring plan, you will develop and implement a scalable recruitment engine across sourcing, screening, and hiring talent quickly, efficiently, and effectively
- Develop close partnerships with HR Partners and business leaders to understand the business outcomes needed for their success
- Build and foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to deliver results in a rapidly and constantly evolving environment
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of business priorities and the ability to translate these into a talent acquisition strategy for the organization
- Support on the full cycle recruitment of strategic roles
- Ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the centre of all talent acquisition programs and strategies
- Responsible for all facets of talent acquisition and play a key role in promoting a culture of high engagement and high performance
- Drive the selection, onboarding and management of recruitment vendors and partners
Requirements
You might be a great fit if:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition function supporting global teams in high-growth companies, preferably in the technology sector
- 2+ years of experience leading an in-house global Talent Acquisition team
- Demonstrates an integrated global perspective to understand and address people and business issues
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills and the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately through a collaborative partnership approach
- Demonstrated experience successfully developing and executing metrics-driven global talent strategies in a high-growth environment at a global level
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that have implications for the business
- Experience helping organizations scale and grow
- Ability to anticipate the people implications of strategic and operating business decisions and plan for the future
- Experience with ATS, preferably Workable
