As the leader of our Talent Acquisition team you will play a significant role in evolving what Recruiting means at Amplitude by crafting scalable processes to help our hardworking team of Recruiters effectively support global hyper-growth. As Head of Talent Acquisition, you will:- Organize, plan and lead the entire life cycle of talent acquisition from sourcing to hiring candidates, applying budgeted resources to deliver consistent and timely results
- Collaborate with finance along with understanding the varying needs of Technical, GTM, and G&A partners worldwide to evaluate capacity of team, set quarterly hiring goals, and consistently assess pipeline of candidates
- Create and foster strong relationships with colleagues and partner with hiring managers to identify requirements and business needs
- Drive improvements to global recruitment tools, policies and processes to ensure streamlined, effective, and high-quality services are delivered, and provide regular recruitment metrics and report on progress
- Ensure recruiters and hiring managers have a clear mutual understanding of staffing policies, practices, interview best practices and on-boarding processes
- Partner with People team on a variety of operational and pivotal initiatives including; candidate interview process, new hire on-boarding, diversity planning, Compensation and Job design and others as needed
- Help build a welcoming employer brand, promoting our employer value proposition and growing brand awareness
- Be an advocate of DEI and bring thoughtful strategies towards building an inclusive environment and while diversifying our candidate pool
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- Experience directly leading a global recruitment team with a history of achieving results by encouraging the team and crafting high-levels of accountability.
- Successful experience in Recruiting, preferably within B2B SaaS.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to provide clarity on recruiting vision, strategy, and status to key partners including Leadership Team, Hiring Managers, and Amplitude as a whole.
- The desire to become a Data Monster; someone who persistently looks at data to uncover business insights and drive decision-making.
- A candidate-focused mentality and passion for crafting an astonishing candidate experience with the ability to balance the needs of the recruiting team with those of the business.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado: Colorado range: $186,000 - $280,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals will work for Amplitude in New York City: New York City salary range: $207,000 - $311,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude California: California salary range: $207,000 - $311,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state: Washington salary range: $186,000 - $280,000 base salary (inclusive of guaranteed bonus) OR (inclusive of commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
