Citi Secure is looking for a IAM Software Engineer within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This candidate will work on software projects related to application security such as single sign on, SAML based user identity federation, OAuth2/OpenID Connect and multi-factor authentication. The candidate will have the opportunity to manage all phases of the Product Engineering and Software Development Lifecycle including requirements, design/architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and packaging using Java/J2EE/JS/Python technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
• Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
• Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
• Recommend product customization for system integration
• Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
• Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services
• Advise or mentor junior team members
• Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience developing application with Java
• SOAP and RESTful web services programming experience in Java
• Experience in developing Machine learning models in python
• Backend development experience in Oracle/SQL
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Expertise in one of the following application servers: WebLogic, WebSphere, Jetty etc.
• Application security experience such as SSO, Federation (SAML, OpenID, OAuth2, OIDC) and Multi factor authentication
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, API gateways and container technologies
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular and Node JS
• Expertise in Unix/Linux scripting and Linux server technology.
• Experience with CHEF, Ansible and CI/CD Pipeline
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and writing complex queries as per the business requirements
• Knowledge of Web/Mobile application architecture
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain good relationship among different teams is required
• Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills to analyze the problem and come up with technical designs and solutions
• Knowledge of Mobile application development
• Experience with Kafka, Splunk and Big Data
• Working experience with LDAP

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
