The Global Rewards & Performance team at CHC is a group of motivated, energetic, and collaborative seasoned compensation and benefits professionals, organized in regional and subject matter expertise sub-teams, with the common objective to improve business' ability to attract, retain and motivate top talent by developing and operating compensation and benefits policies and practices.

Context & Purpose of the role:

Following the announcement in December 2019 of the creation of a standalone Global Business Unit, Sanofi's Consumer Healthcare ("CHC") has grown into a leading consumer healthcare platform with a presence in 150 countries and over 11,000 employees, dedicated resources in R&D, manufacturing, information technology as well as its distinct sustainability roadmap. In Q3 2023, Sanofi announced its intention to separate the CHC Business as it increases its focus on innovative medicines and vaccines. The intended separation will seek to create two entities, each better equipped to pursue its own business strategy, resourcing and capital allocation and enabling each to focus on long-term growth in its respective markets. Sanofi believes that the separation will unlock further opportunities for CHC to leverage its portfolio of leading brands and continue to drive growth and shareholder value.

Amidst this exciting backdrop, the role of Global Incentives and Share Plan Lead within the CHC People & Culture organization emerges as an important position.

Reporting to the Executive Compensation and Incentives Lead, with strong partnerships with our People and Culture, Reward and Performance and Finance teams, you will be a key player in the project to ensure a smooth transition in readiness to set up and administer stand-alone Short-term and Long-term Incentive plans for CHC.

Main responsibilities:
  • As an immediate priority, working closely with the Executive Compensation and Incentives Lead on the design of Global Incentives and Share plans for CHC.
  • Partner with the Executive Compensation and Incentives Lead in the set-up of:
- French profit-sharing plans, working closely with the Global Rewards & Performance team and Finance.

- Global compensation policies including harmonizing the Short-Term Incentive plans across CHC.
  • Manage annual Short-Term Incentive cycles, provide budget estimates based on inflation, finalize the budget to be submitted to ExCom with Finance and share approved budget with Local R&Ps.
  • Manage the preparation and implementation of a new Employee Stock Purchase Plan for CHC worldwide with the various internal and external stakeholders (legal, communication, asset management, etc.).
  • Lead the delivery of Performance Shares
  • Advise the Reward & Performance team for Compensation (analysis of compensation positioning internally and externally through benchmarks, provide guidelines, support for administration, etc.)

About you
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Reward and Performance roles with previous experience in HealthCare or Consumer Goods industries experience a plus
  • Previous direct experience in managing or designing Compensation Incentive Plans in a multinational environment, including share-based compensation plans.
  • Previous Experience in managing Employee Stock Ownership plan and French Profit-Sharing Plans.
  • Strong capacity to combine strategic and operational work
  • Team working skills including an ability to work across borders, cultures and within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical and communication skills including the ability to prepare and present technical topics
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and find pragmatic and effective solutions to challenges.
  • Complete fluency in English.
  • Have very good knowledge in Excel. Workday / SAP knowledge a plus.

  • University Degree or equivalent,
