Job Description

Global Information System Security Manager

Responsible for:

• CMSO Policy Governance

• Oversight of cybersecurity functions

• Represent organization in cross organizational forums

• Privacy and Data Security Compliance Committee member

• Product & Services Cyber Governance Board member

• Customer escalations regarding cybersecurity topics

• Program reporting to senior management

• Review security incidents and act as escalation point

• Progress reporting for security governance related activities and deliverables

• Ensuring all personnel, know and follow security guidelines, as far as reasonably possible.

• Threat Modeling Execution

• Common Control Baseline Development, Training, Execution

• Overseeing annual penetration testing as part of annual vulnerability testing plan

• Coordinating with Sales, Customer Service Managers, Product Managers, and other ISSM's in addressing customer security assessments

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional work experience in technology field

• 5+ years of focused cybersecurity governance, cyber risk management, or IT architecture

• Strong working knowledge of common security control frameworks and certifications (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2)

• Knowledge of focused security control preferred (NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD 8500, DHS 4300)

• Previous system certification and accreditation audit experience preferred

• At least 1 advance cybersecurity certification required (CISSP, CISSM, GSLC, etc)

• Additional professional certifications preferred (Security+ CE, CEH, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL)

• This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• CISSP certification required

• Ability to gain and maintain US Security Clearance ( Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer )

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
