Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to be a finance business partner to the Mars Wrigley agile innovation teams in delivering breakthrough innovation that deliver Moments of Everyday Happiness to our Consumers, and grows the Category for our Customers.

What are we looking for?

• This role has a big impact on the future of the Mars Wrigley portfolio and as such requires strong external perspective including knowledge of different business models, problem solving skills and business partnering skills
• Business partnering requires the ability to pressure test and challenge teams; from pressure testing assumptions and illustrating risk through sensitivity scenarios, to challenging if a project should continue. Finance is one voice in a broader team and the role holder will need to ensure their voice is heard.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Business Model Champion, ensuring development of a business model that delivers against the Value Proposition of each project and delivers a Desirable, Viable and Feasible (DVF) outcome for Mars Wrigley (ensuring there is clear guidance/pressure test to innovation teams on assumptions & sensitivity, trade offs, KPIs for decision making and ultimately clarity on 'what needs to be true' for long term value creation)
• Manage the risk profile and minimize the risk exposure to the business of key innovation
• Development of the necessary Financial Controls and correct accounting process for the business model with clear and transparent governance process
• Development of the cost budget required to deliver the business model, using key metered funding milestones
• Ensuring the Project team operates within their agreed budget
• Ensure a smooth hand over of the project to the regions / markets for scale up at appropriate and agreed point
• Summaries of projects and status as needed to be fed into the Pipeline Overview
