The Role: AdTech Leader - Media & Agency Services

You will enjoy this role if you are passionate about helping clients plan, build and sustain engaging digital experiences leveraging the latest digital strategies, solutions, and technologies. This role helps clients identify and understand the latest tools and trends in Marketing and Advertising Technology (MarTech and AdTech). to maximize Return on Ad Spend (RoAS) from media dollars while navigating the latest privacy regulations to safeguard customer data.

As an AdTech Leader on Slalom's Media & Agency Services team, you advise and guide business stakeholders to define the future of their digital marketing capabilities - bridging the gap between the business and technology to transform the organization and build engaging and highly personalized experiences for customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Guide business stakeholders to resolve problems surrounding digital and traditional media performance, in-house and hybrid agencies models, and ways of working with agency partners

• Define Advertising Technology strategies and solutions across marketing, sales, and service to prepare clients for the deprecation of 3rd-party cookies

• Analyze and understand client's Marketing and Advertising Technology maturity and needs from a people/process/system perspective

• Review clients' first-party data assets and capabilities and assess for maturity, identifying gaps and strengths

• Deliver strategic insights based on best-practices and quantitative analysis, including media efficiency analysis, RoAS assessments and audience segmentation analysis

• Help clients craft first-party data strategies and solutions leveraging cutting-edge solutions that include Data Clean Rooms

• Advise clients as they navigate relevant data privacy laws including CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, etc.

• Help clients plan and implement strategic roadmaps that grow digital maturity and align to organizational objectives

• Help build next-generation marketing teams and capabilities at Fortune 500 brands that seek to modernize their marketing operations, talent mix, and technology stacks

• Support thought leadership of industry evolution, emphasizing data privacy's impacts on digital marketing

• Use and application of research methods such as market benchmarking, stakeholder interviews, maturity assessments and other techniques to gather customer requirements

• Decipher and transform marketing analytics and customer insights into new customer experiences, business strategies and competitive advantage

Desired Background

• Strategic and tactical working knowledge of digital media platforms, including SEM, social media, programmatic display, and online video

• Core skills in marketing analytics, AdTech/MarTech strategy & planning, competitive benchmarking, maturity model assessments, and agile marketing

• Knowledge of core AdTech used in modern digital marketing including but not limited to DSP, SSP, CDP, and Data Clean Rooms

• Proficiency in developing roadmaps for technological ecosystems needed to better understand customers (e.g., developing RACI for AdTech migrations)

• Experience collaborating with clients to identify barriers for execution of their vision and advise on ways to obtain alignment and action

• Ability to lead and facilitate workshops - discovery, brainstorming, review, and final read-out

• Well-versed in digital transformation and topics relating to Digital Strategy and Marketing

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, having developed ideas to bring together brand goals and tailor objectives and consumer needs

• Previous experience managing a P&L of $2.5M-5M+ is required, and agency or consulting experience is preferred

• Ability to travel as needed by client

• Authorized to work in the US without restriction
