As the Global Learning Program Manager, you will play a strategic, innovative and influential role within the Talent Center of Excellence (COE) in the Human Resources Organization. This position will focus on building, implementing and growing global learning and leadership development programs for Columbia Sportswear Company. This role will be focused on creating the go to market execution of Global Learning Programs and ensure they are designed and delivered for DC and Retail employees. At CSC, our learning programs are anchored in design thinking, adult learning theory and human centered instructional design to help enhance our entire diverse workforce including retail, distribution centers and corporate functions. The goal is to build and deliver tools and programs that can increase organizational capability throughout the CSC enterprise. The Global Learning Program Manager will help the team in transforming and driving development efforts within the Talent COE to advance our people strategy.
This position helps to build the delivery and Go-to-Market plans for learning and leadership development initiatives. Partners with business leaders, HRBP's and the design/delivery teams to develop and implement learning and leadership development programs that support talent management, performance improvement and, organizational strategy. Primary responsibilities include consulting and helping to adapt program content for different audiences at scale, proactively building partnerships with HR Business Partners and client groups, conducting performance analysis to inform program updates, manages multiple development initiatives at execution phase (LEAP, ABL, Learning Hour etc.), facilitates to large and small audiences, measures impact of programs, and customizes learning strategies to meet business goals.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Program Delivery: Works with LLD/Talent design team, HRBP's, business leaders and the talent coordinators to create Go-to-Market plans for core learning and leadership development program delivery. Core programs include LEAP, Manager Fundamentals, Executive & Sr. Leadership development, etc. Adjusts core program delivery based on changing needs of the business. Provides feedback to the LLD/Talent Design Team for core program updates, etc. Partners closely with HR Business Partners, Global HR Systems, and cross-functional peers to align and implement program initiatives and post development reinforcement.
- Facilitation: This role will be asked to deliver training in a clear and communicative way in small and large groups that are both live and virtual.
- Program Design/Customization: Collaborates with talent leadership and participates in talent design sessions to assess learning needs to build leadership capability. When needed, may develop customized training approaches and methodologies for the business, taking into consideration the overall training objectives and requirements and aligning to HR strategy.
- Vendor Management: Sources potential training/facilitation vendors; evaluates training options to deliver the best learning intervention to the internal client. Topics include team development, Insights, leadership coaching, new manager assimilation. Oversees implementation with Talent Development coordinators. Monitors vendor performance to contracted objectives.
- Program Metrics Identify, test, and iterate ways to improve learning KPIs and processes across our team. Generate actionable insights using metrics, and dashboards to optimize talent processes to maximize efficiency
- Special Projects - Participates in initiatives to support building organizational capability through various channels. Collaborates with other areas of HR to ensure HR programs align with one another.

YOU HAVE
- 5+ years within a Talent Development role
- Deep understanding of adult learning and digital processes, consulting on opportunities to modernize the learning function
- Experience pulling, analyzing, and presenting learning related data
- Experience working with a LMS - Workday Learning experience preferred
- Advanced ability with standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Other software skills a plus (SharePoint, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline, etc.).
- Demonstrated success providing instruction in group settings, meeting and workshop facilitation using experiential methodologies
