Job Description

This Global List Price (GLP) Systems Analyst role will provide support in the development, support, and maintenance of the Global List Price Systems at Rockwell Automation, as well as the integration of the list price, distributor discounts, and price hierarchy information for new and existing products used in the RA Sales Processes.

This role will support and execute key activities within the Global List Price Systems team. This technical role will participate in the price action process, serve as a contact for business units for pricing data, as a key liaison to the RA Finance organization, and participate in special projects to achieve continuous improvement in the GLP systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have price management experience, and/or a history of financial modeling and a strong track record of success in a pricing or finance role. This role reports to the Manager, Global List Price Systems and is eligible to work in a hybrid capacity, with greater than 50% of time at the Milwaukee, WI HQ as well as some time at the employee's home office. The home office set-up is the employee's responsibility. The ability to flex the home vs. RA office schedule in order to be in-person for key meetings and employee/manager interactions in person is required.

What you will do

  • Support the execution of the APA (Annual Price Adjustment) & MMA (Mid-Year Adjustment) while sustaining the Global List Price Model
  • Collaborate with the manager to generate and model price adjustment targets Participate in stakeholder sessions to support the design and implementation of any special projects within the Global List Price Systems space
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and our distributors for price action related questions
  • Serve as the key liaison between the GLP organization and the RA finance organization to align on KPI results and measures
  • Support the evolution of the Partner Model

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related discipline
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pricing or Finance experience
  • Data Analysis Experience
  • Expert Microsoft Excel Skills (can perform complex functions and maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Knowledge of price metric/price variance (PV) reporting and the ability to provide meaningful financial analysis and financial outcome modelling
  • Familiarity with the RA finance organization and our financial execution practices
  • Previous experience using SAP ECC, Vistex, and/or PROS
  • RA Product Portfolio knowledge including Lifecycle Services offerings
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment across multiple functions, businesses, and regions
