The Candidate will provide Operationalsupport to projects in the Global Major Projects portfolio of HoneywellBuilding Technologies, to ensure Project and Business profit objectives andtargets are met and cash is managed to maximize cash performance. This is to be achieved through the diligentapplication of proper operational practices aligned with internal Honeywellsystems. The individual will need towork closely with Regional GMP leads, Pole GMs, PML, and PMs to be successful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by the Honeywell organization, the Global Major Projects team (GMP), and our customers.
  • Work with P&E Bid Manager on all GMP Opportunities to ensure the GMP MOS is enforced.
  • Work with local Region upon winning a Project to set up and ensure a successful start to execution.
  • Deploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of projects. Ensure the use of both GMP Management
  • Operating Systems and standard Honeywell project processes and tools, such as GPMO.
  • Undertake financial and operational reviews monthly on GMP projects within the area of responsibility.
  • Drive project team to maintain Estimated Actual Cost at completion
  • Devise and implement risk management programs and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are implemented and communicated to management on a regular basis
  • Report to Global Major Projects Leader on project and proposal progress and relevant issues on a regular basis
  • Facilitate the project team's achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time national/international
YOUMUST HAVE

  • Over 15 years of proven experience in project management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
  • Proven project experience involving multiple technology systems such as Building Technologies, Information Technologies, or Network Solutions
  • Proven ability to develop and lead multiple teams.
  • Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management are preferred
  • Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous.
  • On-time delivery at forecasted gross margin
  • Proven commercial/contractual acumen.
  • Proven Bid Management experience & Process Understanding.
