Job Description
The Global Manager of Digital Expansion will join Altium at a crucial moment in its growth trajectory. This role will be the global leader for Altium Digital Expansion (akin to the role of a Quarterback), reporting to the Global Head of Digital Sales (akin to the role of a coach).
A day in the life of our Global Manager Digital Expansion
The Global Manager of Digital Expansion will be responsible for the following:
- To establish and deliver on Altium's strategy to grow the current customer base of Altium users with a mutual vision to drive additional licenses and cloud adoption in these existing accounts, all while driving customer success and predictable year-over-year revenue growth for Altium.
- Systematically identify accounts with expansion opportunity and potentiate growth.
- To drive the adoption of the Altium 365 Cloud Platform in the existing customer base via upselling and add-on selling. This includes uplifting standard subscribers to pro subscriptions over time.
- To aggressively recruit and develop a top-tier, diverse, and efficient Digital Sales organization with the support of the Global Head of Digital Sales.
- Build systems and processes to standardize the Digital Expansion team's approach to selling
- Manage the overall expansion sales for the Digital team globally, setting appropriate metrics for the team.
- Work with the Global Head of Digital Sales in a highly collaborative, team-oriented manner to plan and manage the strategic and operational levels of Digital Expansion Sales.
- Be a key team member contributing and working collaboratively across the global Digital Management Team.
Who We're Looking For
- Demonstrated sales leadership in software with at least 10 years of experience in leading teams in sales. Multiple repeatable proof points of recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining leaders and individual contributors to support a high-performing Digital Expansion Sales organization. Experience in EDA and technical educational background is a solid plus.
- Demonstrated progressive and consistent over-achievement of annual quotas.
- Must have a background working and leading teams whose focus was on ARR via subscription, maintenance, or other types of recurring revenue
- Proven track record of working closely with cross-functional departments to promote collaboration and a teamwork ethic.
- Experience in leading and selling SaaS solutions is a plus.
- Demonstrated high integrity, initiative, leadership, and the ability to promote an inclusive, diverse culture.
- Agile and willing to embrace new approaches, working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals and a commensurate workload.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholders' confidence, trust, and support.
The Global Manager of Digital Expansion will be expected to expand the team's effectiveness and efficiency via capacity increases and technology innovation.

- Excellent communication and influencing skills - The successful candidate will effectively use their strong presentation and influencing skills to communicate the value proposition of Altium Subscription and Altium 365 Cloud to digital customers.
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
