ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Global Security Operations (GSO) Team owns the safety and security efforts at Peloton. As Peloton’s Global Manager of Crisis Management you will be responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing the GSO’s crisis management program and response team, critical incident management policy development, crisis management training, and continuous improvement initiatives. A successful crisis management team leader will play a key role in the broader GSO organization by assisting with the overall strategy, design, and execution of the crisis management program. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Executive + Talent Protection, Global Studio Security, Global Corporate Security, Global Retail Security and Crisis Management, this leader will work closely with team members from the Global Security Operations team, and additional teams across Peloton including Learning and Development, Legal, Team Member Relations, Communications, EHS, and others. This leader will implement and manage operations driving overall success of the crisis management response team, while ensuring compliance with global security standards. As a dedicated member of the broader Legal team, this leader will help us drive initiatives forward to improve the safety and security of our global portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with attention to detail, along with extensive experience in project management and building a crisis management program. This leader will have extensive experience collaborating with diverse partners, leading meetings and driving program compliance. Lastly, this leader will be self-motivated and enjoys working in a diversified environment, while building out solutions. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON 

  • Execute all aspects of crisis response project management, including project initiation through completion, including identifying dependencies and risk mitigation.
  • Work in partnership with the executive & talent protection, corporate, studio and physical security teams to ensure the appropriate processes are implemented to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement a notification system specific to Peloton in order to manage, triage and respond to critical incidents that directly impact Peloton’s people and assets.
  • Lead and collaborate on the content development and revision of crisis response policy.
  • Lead, manage and /or evaluate Peloton’s third party Risk Operations Center (ROC) to determine purpose, use and functionality. 
  • Partner with Security GRC Business Resilience to ensure both crisis response and business continuity programs are integrated and have proper documented handoffs.
  • Develop scalable processes for crisis response protocols, training, awareness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Peloton’s security vendors and third party partners.
  • Collaborate with Peloton’s Environmental Health and Safety and Compliance teams to ensure the crisis management program is supporting their initiates. 
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners to ensure that Peloton’s policy, culture and values are integrated within the crisis management program. 
  • Have a flexible approach to work hours and on call assignments. 

YOU BRING TO PELOTON 

  • 4+ years of project/program management consulting experience in risk, resilience, business continuity, and / or crisis management field. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Advance knowledge of a global security operations center. 
  • Comfortable collaborating with corporate executives, senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Moderate knowledge of processes and regulations within the security, loss prevention, business continuity, table top exercises, and safety industry. 
  • Able to assess the impact on policies and procedures in the event of business or regulatory changes while being able to prioritize and maintain focus on key priorities.
  • Sharp attention to detail and ability to manage resources and timelines while maintaining clear, consistent, and concise communication with all stakeholders.
  • The ability to present proactive ideas / strategies and incorporate it into your iterative work. 
  • Strong competence within Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Intelligence Software, JIRA, Confluence and Closed Circuit Television monitoring. 
  • CBCI, PMP and/or 4+ years project management experience. 
  • Certified Systems Information Auditor and Genetec knowledge is a bonus.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$138,800—$180,400 USD
