Global Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager - Carmel, Indiana

We are seeking a Global Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and drivers, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior. The Global Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data, trends, and competitor information to support the organization's strategic decision-making process. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. This position will report to Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis.

What You Will Do:

• Analyze market data to identify trends and develop key insights
• Develop and maintain a robust competitive intelligence database and communicate insights with relevant stakeholders
• Lead the development of presentations, reports, and other materials to communicate market intelligence updates to senior management and other stakeholders
• Communicate market and competitive intelligence insights to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs for market intelligence and provide relevant data, insights, and recommendations
• Stay current with industry developments and market trends to provide informed insights and recommendations
• Manage the budget and resources of the market intelligence function to ensure the necessary tools and resources are available

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field required
• Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field is optional
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in market intelligence, market research or related field required
• Industry knowledge or experience within manufacturing and/or the construction industry is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate market intelligence insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of market research methodologies and tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
