Global Market Modeler/Analyst (Hybrid)
Job Description
You will be responsible and given the freedom to take our market modelling to the next level using the latest technologies, building, updating and communicating our global market model which will be used to drive decisions at the executive level. The modelling will combine internal, external data, as well as working with third party research firms, and you will be supported by team members with inside out knowledge of the industry.
This role will require flexible working given its global nature, however we prefer candidates within a commutable distance from one of Dematic's global locations including Atlanta (USA), Grand Rapids (USA), London (UK), Manchester (UK), Banbury (UK), Milan (It) and Frankfurt (DE).
What we offer:
- Build, update and communicate our market sizing and growth internal models.
- Source and track relevant macroeconomic indicators to support market growth models.
- Conduct external market analysis related to competitor performance data, customer performance data to track and regularly report Dematic's performance / progress.
- Automate/semi-automate processes where possible to develop live/semi-live modelling.
- Perform market analysis to support quarterly market/competitor updates and progress of internal strategic projects such as market entry/expansion, etc.
- Work with and manage external vendors related to third party research.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Desired Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a numerical or data field, mathematics, economics, data science or similar
- 3+ years' experience in data analytics and/or conducting primary and secondary market research preferable
Key Skills
- Highly motivated innovator, that's drawn to challenges, creative thinking, with a strong eye for detail
- Strong modelling / analytical skills with competence in typical leading BI tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent verbal and written communication / PPT skills to communicate at all levels (peer to c-suites) within the organizations Fluent in English
