LOCATION:Ā The Global Marketing Lead is a remote, work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Candidates who live in the following States will be considered: IL, MA, NH, PA, VA, NJ, FL, GA, MN, OR, TX, AZ, ME, NC, SC, TN. Some travel is required, for client meetings or other internal meetings, conferences, etc. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.Ā
Acceleration Partners seeks an experienced Global Marketing Lead to provide maternity cover, initially on a 13-month contract, in a fast-paced, global marketing team. Working closely with the CMO, and across the global marketing team, you will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, highly organised, results-driven, innovative and proactive. This is a generalist marketing role, so experience across key marketing functions - content marketing, brand marketing, storytelling, PR, planning and strategy, demand generation and events - is essential. This is a marketing leadership role, so experience managing multiple direct reports, across different experience levels is essential. Specific direct reporting relationships will be outlined in due course. Reporting to the CMO, you will take responsibility for the global marketing strategy to help Acceleration Partners Create Whatās Next for its clients.

- Globally Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable (LMA): Lead, manage and hold accountable cross-functional team members globally to ensure execution of the marketing roadmap and evolving strategy. Leads by influence. Successfully develops their team through mentoring, coaching, identifying training needs and providing proactive and timely feedback. Success of developing teams is proven through a track record of growing team capabilities, elevating teams and motivating A players.
- Global Marketing Strategy: Has the ability to see the big picture by thinking conceptually, imaginatively, and systematically. Provide high-level strategic guidance and partnership to the team, to ensure marketing goals are met. Works with the team to innovate new strategies, tactics and efficiencies so objectives are met across the department. Provides data-driven insights, reporting and recommendations to demonstrate success of marketing initiatives to CMO and SLT.Ā
- Global Marketing Leadership and Strategic Projects: Working closely with the CMO on strategic global marketing initiatives to drive forward APās marketing strategy. Initiatives include APās global thought leadership strategy, brand identity, storytelling, budget management and planning.
- ROW Marketing Strategy and Budget Management: Responsible for planning and strategically leading ROW marketing initiatives to raise APās brand awareness and visibility across Europe. Leading the strategy for any ROW market expansions and business growth opportunities in Europe such as Germany. Provide guidance to the global marketing team on ROW market differences and nuances and supporting implementation of regionally specific marketing initiatives and campaigns. Collaborates closely with the global team to ensure messages are globally aligned.
- Internal Marketing Leadership: An exceptional relationship builder you will ccollaborate with other departments, including Sales, Client Services, HR and Operations to address business needs and inform the marketing strategy. Ensure proper information sharing with the team by disseminating information in a timely manner. Leads process improvements, encourages efficiency, and works to build value for the organisation by proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business. Flags and escalates key risks as needed up the chain. Ability to leverage relationships for influence.
QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Strong experience working in a global marketing team and working cross-functionally to deliver a marketing strategy.
- Knows how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment while also working independently.
- Experience leading and executing content, brand and storytelling strategies.
- Experience managing a PR agency to develop and execute a company thought leadership and brand awareness strategy.
- A natural leader, with both an eye for the business and the people. Experience in managing a team and exceptional understanding of how to motivate a team and drive performance.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate plans and marketing ideas to all parts of the organisation.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating on projects to drive results.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Know how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment while also working independently.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 8+ years of marketing experience.Ā
- Previous experience working in a B2B, generalist marketing role.
- Experience managing a team, including budgets and strategy
- Independent / flexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt as the business grows.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team with changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to quickly develop strong relationships with employees across the business.
- Experience working in a small, agile marketing team.
- Generalist experience across all key marketing functions: PR, brand identity and storytelling, event management, demand generation, content marketing, global marketing strategy, budget management.
