Global Media Operations Manager - Contract

As a Contract Global Media Operations Manager at Airbnb, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the operational aspects of our global ad campaigns.Â
The Difference You Will Make:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth execution and coordination of ad campaigns across various markets, working closely with internal teams and external partners, specifically our global media agency and cross functional groups at Airbnb. From purchase order management to campaign setup and currency management, you will be the go-to person for all operational aspects of our media initiatives.
A Typical Day:Â
- Purchase Order Management:Â
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and manage purchase orders for media buys.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of media.
- Monitor budget allocation and provide regular updates to relevant teams.
Campaign Set Up and Execution:
- Work closely with media planning and creative teams to execute media campaigns.
- Oversee the timely and accurate implementation of campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Ensure campaign targeting, tracking parameters, and creative assets are properly implemented.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to campaign setup and delivery.
Currency Management:
- Monitor and manage currency exchange rates and their impact on media budgets.
- Collaborate with FP&A and procurement teams to optimize currency conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of currency conversions and related financial data.
- Â Operational Coordination:Â
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational queries related to media campaigns.
- Â Liaise with x-f teams, external vendors, and media partners to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Foster strong relationships with partners to facilitate smooth communication and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Expertise:
- 9+ years experience in media operations, campaign management, or related roles with extensive experience supporting global campaigns
- Experience setting up global campaigns required
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of media buying processes, ad tech platforms, and campaign setup.
- Proficiency in using ad management tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Airtable or similar platforms is a plus
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and work with external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience and understanding of how to work in a global environment spanning time zones, currencies and cultural nuances.
Your Location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
