Job Description

In this market development role, the Global OEM Director, Hybrid will lead the development of our Global Go-to-Market Strategies & Execution Priorities across the OEM segments supporting Hybrid Markets. They will be responsible for increasing Rockwell's market share, sales growth & industry ecosystem presence. They will develop a global growth plan by analyzing critical markets, segments, trends, opportunities & customer/market requirements.

They are responsible for driving sustainable & repeatable sales growth by influencing KPIs including conversions, funnel health, win-rate, new & innovative solutions, etc. As a strategic & transformational leader, they will be defined by executive presence, global & cultural acumen, communications skills, direct/indirect leadership skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will lead and directly manage a high-performance sales team to significantly grow our market presence and share on a global scale. They will leverage RA's extensive portfolio of industrial software and automation solutions. Combining their expertise in the aforementioned areas, with strong strategic and commercial leadership experience, the candidate will lead and support our organization in developing and winning opportunities that help our clients achieve their business outcomes.

Position Summary:

  • Develop & influence execution of the Global OEM G2M Strategies to include long term needs, opportunities & investments.
  • Develop OEM Pursuit Strategies & Execution Plans based on market/customer intelligence with recommendations for strategic initiatives, resource deployment, strategic account prioritization/selection and SMART objectives
  • Create & execute the DoW for OEM segments which are mutually agreed upon by both global and regional stakeholders. DoW's should be SMART with clarity of goals and commitments to achieve those goals.
  • Serve as partner to regionals for resourcing strategies that support OEM business development including GOTC headcount, regional segment headcount, OEM program management, OEM Partner Program support, Marketing, etc.
  • Establish extended team(s) of subject matter experts, segment advocates & business unit resources to drive BSR, strategic initiatives & growth objectives
  • Facilitate a cadence of communications, collaboration, planning and joint sales pursuit meetings to achieve objectives
  • Foster executive relationships with strategic customers and partners to build & leverage relationships that move Rockwell Automation into a lead position at the account including both "opening of doors" at competitive accounts and "relationship building" at existing partners.
  • Provide guidance to the Business Units to prioritize & develop portfolio road maps, product investments & service offerings
  • Manage global pricing strategies to ensure alignment, consistency & competitive positioning
  • Influence Market Access & selection of strategic partners
  • Support & recommend marketing programs/campaigns to build thought leadership and active network in industry events, seminars, conferences, trade associations and speaking engagements
  • Develop segment bench strength and succession planning to ensure career readiness
  • Provide Indirect Sales Leadership & Guidance at Global & Strategic Accounts
  • Elevate Rockwell Automation's global profile in the Hybrid markets via thought leadership

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US, or a Western European country, is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years management experience
  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or other technical field, OR in Business or Marketing with experience in renewable energy, traditional energy, and information technology. An MBA or advanced degree in business management is desirable.
  • Typically requires + 10 years of related commercial/sales and
  • Global business, commercial or sales experience
  • Executive presence and strong direct and indirect leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate to interact and influence effectively across all levels & teams (Senior management & Executive level)
  • Experience in building, leading, and operating in a high-performance organization.

Colorado Equal Pay Act: The total target compensation range for this role in Colorado and New York is $175,000-$210,000 with 90% being base and 10% being variable.
