Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Ops leadership. Role will be main point of contact between Finance and Global Operations Leadership team. Key relationship will be with VP Operations.
• Partnering with VP Operations to identify and address capacity requirements.
• Driving focus on cost, output and productivity in each factory.
• Driving improvement in material and conversion productivity, particularly improving cost of poor quality (COPQ).
• Working with the supply chain organizations to manage inventory levels.
• Working with operations leaders and site controllers to improve plant performance by promoting standardization and leveraging synergies.
• Leading and developing (1) newly formed cost accounting team in Costa Rica and (2) two other team members.
• Finance owner of global operations processes, such as (1) Capital approval (2) Annual Cost Roll (3) Forecasting (4) Delegation of Authority.
• Analyzing forecasted and actual results.
• Key part of decision-making process for Operations.

What your background should look like:

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree required
• 12 years of experience
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in a high mix, low volume environment
• Strong costing experience.
• Motivating, managing and developing a remote team

Knowledge of:

• Understanding of cost accounting and cost analysis
• Understanding of financial performance drivers in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of manufacturing, procurement, and other supply chain matters

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $160,000 - $180,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
