Nike's Operations team is comprised of Sourcing & Manufacturing, Demand & Supply Management, and Supply Chain & Logistics. These three teams work closely together to drive and support Nike's growth by forecasting demand across an ever- evolving marketplace, building product through a vast network of suppliers and manufacturers, and fulfilling shipments with a complex distribution system capable of adapting to constant change.
For these teams, we're looking for candidates across the spectrum of enterprise visionaries and strategists who can create and tell the big picture story, operations specialists who execute our strategies, data scientists who make decisions based on rigorous quantitative insights, and generalists who can drive large scale impact.
Sourcing & Manufacturing
Nike's Sourcing & Manufacturing teams constantly challenge the assumptions about how products are made. They come up with big ideas, test principles, perfect production processes, and work closely with hundreds of manufacturing partners around the world to create better-performing products with less waste. They build the source base of the future to ensure consumer needs around the globe are met flexibly and at scale.
Demand & Supply Management
Nike's Demand & Supply Management team creates our end-to-end consumer demand forecasts and inventory flow in partnership with Merchandising, Product Creation, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Marketplace teams. The team ensures our product innovation and inventory management plan align with downstream marketplace demands, enabling Nike to serve our consumers with the product they want, when they want it, and wherever they want it.
Supply Chain & Logistics
Every year, Nike Supply Chain & Logistics teams ensure that nearly one billion pieces of footwear, apparel, and equipment arrive at the right destination on time across the globe. This complex process involves 50+ distribution nodes, thousands of accounts, and over 100,000 retail doors. The team constantly strives to move faster, more efficiently, and with more flexibility to support the rapid evolution and growth of our marketplace and consumer.
- Enrolled in a graduate level program with an expected graduation date of December 2023 or Spring/Summer 2024
- Background in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Retail or related field preferred.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, influence other teams, and leverage internal and external resources
- Manage ambiguity with a bias for action
- Ability to decipher themes, make decisions, and draw conclusions from large datasets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience addressing diverse audiences, including senior leadership
- Have a growth mindset, be inquisitive, and have a process orientated mindset
- Passionate about Nike brand, products and consumer
