Responsibilities:

The Global Price Reimbursement and Access for New Product Planning (GPRA NPP) Team represents the voice of the payer in the product development cycle from early phase until handover to the PRA Commercialization team at the beginning of Phase 3. We also support business development activities. The team works across all business units, with a focus on the USA, Japan and major markets in Europe. The NPP PRA team sits within the Global Payer Marketing team that is tasked with developing and implementing cross-portfolio payer marketing principles/tools, ensuring PRA learning across the portfolio, and acting as a force-multiplier for product PRA at critical junctures in the product life cycle.

This role will act as the operational lead for the wider Global Payer Marketing team and lead such activities as staff meetings, affiliate engagements, business planning, and knowledge management. This role will also support other members of the NPP PRA team with the work they do to understand the PRA environment and payer needs, shape clinical and commercial plans and deliver appropriate PRA recommendations to support forecasts and business decisions.

The role will report to the Associate Vice President for NPP PRA however will work closely with the Associate Vice President for Global Payer Marketing and Pricing.

This role is an excellent way to learn about market access and pricing.

Operations lead for cross-portfolio GPRA Team

  • Manage GPRA portfolio wide performance tracking and reporting
  • Support GPRA involvement in key annual processes such as business plan, strategic plan, budget management,
  • Run monthly portfolio wide GPRA staff meetings and NPP PRA meetings
  • Update and lead organization of onboarding and ongoing training efforts for new members of the wider global payer marketing team. This will include engaging with LVA training team.
  • Lead GPRA-wide work on collab site/knowledge management strategy to ensure we capture/catalog/share process and shared learning for key GPRA activities and knowledge such as, forecasting integration, NILEX trial design, ATC codes, affiliate requirements etc.
  • Support ongoing special projects for GPRA team

NPP PRA

  • Development of Therapeutic Area landscapes including analysis of recent PRA and regulatory decisions for major US accounts and major OUS markets.
  • Work with faculty resources and affiliates and maintain a list of US and OUS payer thought leaders
  • Develop reports following advisory boards and ensure that reports are posted into knowledge management systems
  • Update Price Communication Templates
  • Act as Force Multiplier by supporting NPP PRA consultants during peak work times.
  • Support process for capturing feedback from affiliates

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status)

Additional Preferences

  • Previous experience in payer marketing/pricing reimbursement and access, brand marketing, or related experience
  • Previous experience in product development, regulatory or medical affairs
  • Clinical background e.g. pharmacist/nurse
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to make tradeoffs and prioritize workload effectively
  • Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking
